Voices for Nature launched the Jabuji Debates as an exciting way for students to hone public speaking and debating skills, to explore geo-political and environmental issues and to learn more about Brazil and its rainforests.

The debating competition 2015 – 2016 is hosted by Eton College and sponsored by Blackwell’s, Oxford’s prestigious bookseller.

Students prepared. by reading the novel Jabujicaba and  participating in workshops  to deepen understanding of issues, develop arguments and character perspectives and to learn how to debate.
